Minimum number of guests must be finalised at the time of booking.
Pricing will not be altered if a member of the bridal party or guest no longer requires my services. Your balance owing will remain the same as per invoice. Extra guests may be added subject to availability.
There is a minimum spend for wedding bookings.
Booking for special occasions on weekends are only accepted two months in advance.
Special occasion bookings of two or less people will be held at JTH home studio in Rowville.
PRICING AND ADDITIONAL FEES
All hairstyling prices include hair padding / donuts (if necessary for your hair style) at no extra cost. Hair extensions are applied and styled at no extra cost, however they are not included in service prices and must be provided by the client. There are limited hair extensions available for hire.
All prices are subject to change without notice. Invoices issued to clients who have already secured a booking before a price increase occurs will not be affected.
Prices listed on our website are our starting prices and may differ depending on your event date.
Travel fees are calculated by distance from Rowville, VIC 3178. An accurate address must be provided and you will receive a quote once location is known.
Parking fees may apply and is additional to travel fees. Valet parking will be required at all hotels and the fee will be added to your room bill. A parking spot must be organised where possible. Any parking tickets incurred by Jayteehair will be invoiced to the client post event.
An "early start fee" will be applied for appointments starting at 7am or earlier.
Bookings that require an assistant / second hairstylist will incur an "assistant fee" to cover the stylist's travel and/or parking costs and early start fee where applicable.
An additional fee of 20% will apply to service prices on Public Holidays.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
A non-refundable and non-transferable booking fee must be paid to secure your wedding date and will be deducted from your final invoice.
Changes in appointment dates will forfeit your booking fee and a new booking fee will be required to secure your new appointment date.
The full remaining balance should be paid one week prior to your appointment date. Direct debit is the only form of payment accepted.
The agreed service between Jayteehair and the client can only be provided when payment is made in full.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
Refunds are not offerred for completed work.
All booking fee payments are strictly non-refundable. If for any reason you wish to cancel your booking, a formal written notification of cancellation is required.
Wedding booking cancellations within 3 months from the wedding date will result in payment due in full.
Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made within one month for special occasion bookings.
Bridal hair trials are mandatory; held approximately 2-3 months prior to your wedding and will be performed at JTH home studio in Rowville, VIC.
Hair trials are strictly for brides or clients who have secured a booking.
One style will be trialed per session, with a second style at an addtional cost.
A maximum of two styles can be trialed per session, however, only one style is recommended per trial.
Please provide images of styles prior to your trial date.
Hair pieces/ accessories or wedding veils should be brought on the day if applicable. Jayteehair also has a selection of hair pieces available for hire.
Working electrical outlets must be available for use at the service location.
A work area with a chair and ample lighting is necessary for services to be performed.
Jayteehair does not provide blow dries or blow waves of any kind. Clients should have clean, dry and untangled hair prior to the commencement of styling. Clients with naturally curly or frizzy hair who do not desire a curly hair style should have their hair straightened prior to the commencement of styling. Clients will incur a $50 fee if they require hair to blow dried or straightened before the commencement of styling.
Services provided are accepted at your own risk and our hairstylist is not responsible for damages incurred due to sensitivity or allergic reactions from products used throughout the service. Any allergies should be communicated to our hairstylist prior to the commencement of service.
Any form of abuse, including physical or verbal, towards an artist or stylist is unacceptable by any person at the event. Should this occur, services will cease immediately and the client will not be entitiled to a refund for any work already performed.
Photos and videos may be taken of our work and used on social media platforms, promotions or our website. All recorded media remains the property of Jayteehair.
A bond will apply to hiring services. The bond will be refunded to you once the item has been returned and inspected for any damages.
A full payment including the bond and a signed contract is required to secure your booking.
Items will be delivered to you via Australia Post Express Delivery if you do not have an existing hairstyling booking with Jayteehair.
Item/s must be returned via Australia Post Express Delivery within 3 working days after your event date. Common sense should be used to protect delicate items when returning them.
A $10/working day late return fee will apply from the fourth business day if item/s have not yet received. Items will be deemed as "unreturned" if not received by two weeks after your hire date and your bond will not be returned.
When item/s are returned in an unusable or broken condition, the item will be deemed as "damaged" and your bond will not be returned.
Item/s are exclusively available for hire within Australia.
