As per the government guidelines, Jayteehair can only provide hairstyling services to individuals who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination may be requested prior to the commencement of your appointment. Jayteehair holds the right to refuse service for individuals who choose to withhold evidence of their COVID-19 vaccination status and payment for the individual's service will be lost.
What will be done to keep you safe:
Hands will be washed before the commencement of all appointments
All tools (curling irons, combs, clips etc) will be sanitised between bookings
Handshakes/ hugs for greetings will be avoided
Appointments at my home studio:
Clients will be asked to remove their shoes before entering
Facemasks must be worn
Upon arrival, you will be asked to check-in for contact tracing purposes and provide proof of vaccination
Please reschedule your appointment if you are not feeling well on the day
The following refund and cancellation policies will apply, ONLY in the event that your wedding date is affected by Victorian COVID-19 restrictions:
Pricing will be amended if there is a decrease of bridal party members due to a wedding capacity limit or travel ban. Your balance owing will be altered accordingly
A change of wedding date will not require a forefit in your initial deposit and is transferable to a new date
Our cancellation policy will not apply, i.e. cancellations will not result in payment due in full
All deposit payments remain as non-refundable unless Jayteehair is unavailable for your new date.

BOOKINGS AND DEPOSITS
A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $150 must be paid to secure your wedding date and will be deducted from your final invoice.
Changes in appointment dates will forfeit your initial deposit and another deposit will be required to secure your new appointment date.
Minimum number of guests must be finalised at the time of booking.
Pricing will not be altered if a member of the bridal party or guest pulls out. Your balance owing will remain the same as per invoice. Extra guests may be added subject to availability.
There is a minimum booking fee of $300 for weddings on weekends.
Booking for special occasions on weekends can only be made 4 weeks in advanced with no minimum booking fee.
PRICING, PAYMENT AND ADDITIONAL FEES
All hairstyling prices include hair padding / donuts (if necessary for your hair style) at no extra cost. We also style hair extensions at no extra cost, however hair extensions are not included in our prices and must be provided by the client. Jayteehair has limited hair extensions available for hire at this point in time. Please enquire to see if we have your colour.
All prices are subject to change without notice. Invoices issued to clients who have already paid a deposit before a price increase occurs will not be affected.
Travel fees are calculated by distance. An accurate address must be provided and you will receive a quote once location is known.
Parking fees may apply and is additional to travel fees. Valet parking will be required at all hotels and the fee will be added to your room bill. A parking spot must be organised for our hairstylist when the location is at a serviced apartment.
An early morning start fee will be applied for bookings starting at 6:30am or earlier.
Bookings that require an assistant / second hairstylist will incur a fee to cover the travel for the hairstylist.
An additional fee of 20% will apply on Public Holidays.
The full remaining balance should be paid 5 days prior to your appointment date. I accept the following forms of payment: Bank Transfer and BeemIt. The agreed service between Jayteehair and the client can only be provided when payment is made in full.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
We do not offer refunds on completed work.
All desposit payments are strictly non-refundable. If for any reason you wish to cancel your booking with us, A formal written notification of cancellation is required.
For wedding bookings, cancellations within 3 months from the wedding will result in payment due in full.
For special occasion bookings, cancellations within 1 month will result in payment due in full.
Bridal hair trials are mandatory; held approximately 3 months prior to your wedding and will be performed at our home studio in Rowville, VIC.
You may book a trial before making a booking for your wedding date, however this will not secure your wedding date.
We will trial up to two styles, however, only one style is recommended per trial. Please allow 1.5 to 2 hours.
Please provide images of styles prior to your trial date.
Hair pieces/ accessories or wedding veils should be brought on the day if applicable. Jayteehair also has a selection of hair pieces available for hire.
Photos and videos may be taken of our work and used on social media platforms, promotions and our website. All recorded media remains the property of Jayteehair.
We do not provide blow dries and clients should have clean, dry and untangled hair prior to the commencement of styling. Clients with naturally curly or frizzy hair who do not desire a curly hair style should have their hair pre-straightened. A $50 fee will incur if clients require their hair to be blow dried or straightened before the commencement of styling.
Services provided are accepted at your own risk and our hairstylist is not responsible for damages incurred due to sensitivity or allergic reactions from products used throughout the service. Any allergies should be communicated to our hairstylist prior to the commencement of service.
A bond will apply to hiring services. The bond will be refunded to you once the item has been returned and inspected for any damages.
A full payment including the bond and a signed contract is required to secure your booking.
Items will be delivered to you via Australia Post Express Delivery if you do not have an existing hairstyling booking with Jayteehair.
Item/s must be returned via Australia Post Express Delivery within 3 working days after your event date. Common sense should be used to protect delicate items when returning them.
A $10/working day late return fee will apply from the fourth business day if item/s have not yet received. Items will be deemed as "unreturned" if not received by two weeks after your hire date and your bond will not be returned.
When item/s are returned in an unusable or broken condition, the item will be deemed as "damaged" and your bond will not be returned.
Item/s are exclusively available for hire within Australia.
